Calvin Alston


Calvin Alston, 93 went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2025. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones.


Calvin was born on August 9, 1931, in Ozark, Arkansas to the union of Little David and Ann (Johnson) Alston, and Calvin attended school in Ozark prior to the family moving to Coffeyville, KS in 1947.


​During his life, Calvin worked at the city laundry in Coffeyville, and on April 4, 1956, began his employment with Bartlett Milling Company working at the Flour Mill in Coffeyville. Calvin started out in the loading docks, then moved to elevator operator, foreman, elevator supervisor before retiring after fifty-three (53) years, on April 4, 2009.


Calvin was a lifelong & faithful member of St. John Church of Faith, Coffeyville, KS. until his passing.


Visitation will be Thursday, February 27th from 1 to 5 p.m. at Mission Funeral Services 502 S. Union St.


Service will be Friday, February 28th @ 11 a.m. at St. John Church of Faith 602 W. Martin St.
