Carolyn Sue Wilson



Carolyn Sue Wilson was called home to be with our Father on June 26, 2018. Carolyn was born on February 7, 1943 to Anna Banks Slaughter and Artemus Slaughter in Coffeyville, KS. She attended Cleveland School and Field Kindley High School and also attended Sardis First Baptist Church.

Carolyn married her high school sweetheart, Marcus Wilson in 1960. To that union three children were born, Deanna, Mark Allen and Bryant.


Carolyn spent many years as a valuable, hardworking employee of Western Publishing and Amazon before moving to Irving, TX. to retire with the love of her life. In Irving she fell in love with God all over again and began attending Calvary Non-Denominational Church.


Viewing will be Friday, July 6th at Mission Funeral Services, 502 S. Union St. from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M.

Graveside services will be Saturday, July 7th at Fairview Cemetery, Veteran Memorial Patio at 12:00 P.M. Pastor Melvin Simpson, officiating.

So very sorry to here of Carolyn's passing. She was a lovely lady and I really enjoyed working with her at Western Publishing. She will be missed. Praying for the family. Heaven has truly gained another Angel.
