Clyde McGee Collins


Clyde McGee Collins passed away January 3, 2020 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita Kansas.


Clyde was born on July 23, 1949 to Clyde Lester Collins and Maxine (McGee) in Parsons, Kansas.


Deacon Collins is survived by his wife Mary Collins and his daughter Bianca Martin, and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.


Clyde will be remembered as the school crossing guard and bus monitor at the Early Learning Center and Community Elementary for many years.


Clyde was a member of Sardis First Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher, Layman in National Convention of Kansas Missionary Association, and a State Sunbeam Teacher's Assistant. A job he really loved.


Memorial service will be Saturday, January 11th at Sardis First Missionary Baptist Church at 11 a.m. location 414 E. 2nd street Coffeyville, KS.


Cremation has taken place and burial will be in Leavenworth, KS.
