Isaac Anthony "Tony" Heaven
Born in Coffeyville, Kansas on October 20, 1954. Tony passed on Saturday, November 14, 2021. He is the son of Isaac Ashley and Olga Jewel Heaven. He was baptized at an early age and was active in Sunday School and other activities at Calvary Baptist Church.
Tony attended Whittier Elementary, Roosevelt Junior High, Field Kindley Memorial High, and Coffeyville Junior College. He was a Cub Scout and active in many youth sport activities. Tony lettered in football, basketball, and track in elementary and junior and senior high schools. Tony was named to the All-State Basketball team during his senior year. Tony lived in San Diego, CA for several years before retuning to Coffeyville to assist his aging parents.
Tony was preceded in death by his Father, Isaac Ashley Heaven; Mother, Olga Jewel Heaven; Sister, JoElaine Heaven; and Brother, Glen Tyler Davis Heaven. Tony's oldest Daughter, LaShonna Briggans Williams, passed in December 2020 in Sacramento, CA.
Tony is survived by two Sisters: Rachel N. Norwood (Wichita, KS) and Edith L. Heaven (Peoria, IL); and one Brother, Ashley Dean Heaven (Seattle, WA); four Daughters: Tiaunna Briggans (Atlanta, GA), LaTisha Scarborough (Tulsa, OK), Brooklyn Scarborough-Choice (Dallas, TX), and LaTisha Parker (Prattville, AL); and one Son, Isaac Earl Heaven (Tulsa, OK) along with grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Sardis 1st Missionary Baptist Church 414 E. 2nd Street, June 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Coffeyville.
Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery next to his parents and deceased siblings.

Tony and I were high school classmates. He was a great athlete and a nice guy. I always liked Tony and I was sorry to learn of his passing today. My sympathy to his family.

I'm setting here watching the Lakers game it reminded me of what a great Basketball player Tony was. Rest in Peace Tony!
