Bobby Joe Wiggins



Bobby Joe Wiggins, 62 of Coffeyville, Kansas was suddenly called home, Thursday, December 29, 2016.


Bobby was born April 6, 1954 in Fort Pillow, Tennessee to Earl (Pete) Franklin Wiggins (Deceased) and Rosie Lee Wiggins (Deceased). He was a long time resident of Coffeyville, KS., where he made his home and started his family. He was employed by Coffeyville Resources, LLC, formerly COOP Refinery, for over 33 years with a recent retirement in May 2016. Bobby was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved the blues. His recent joy was his unlimited ability to travel, fish, hunt and enjoy family in retirement.


Bobby is survived by his daughter, Rachel Lee Wiggins, Kansas City, KS. Three brothers: James Earl (Gwen) Wiggins, Ripley, TN; Calvin Dean (Leta) Wiggins, and Christopher Shun (Lisa) Wiggins, Henning, TN; Six sisters: Jessie Mae (Edgar) Harrell, Martin, TN; Carolyn Wright and Estrellita Rogers, Henning, TN; Mae Katherine (Morgan) Lee, Shirley Ann (John) Gaines, Ripley, TN; Melinda (Reginald) Alexander, Henning, TN; Beloved partner Rhonda Treece, Coffeyville, KS. Many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Susan Wiggins, Pittsburg, KS is the mother of his daughter.


Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at Mission Funeral Services, 502 S.

Union Street, Coffeyville, KS 67337. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. John Church of Faith, 602 W. Martin St. Coffeyville, KS 67337. Pastor Gary B. Wilson will officiate.


Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park 2000 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS.
