Barbara Sue (Scott) Homer passed away on April 5, 2023 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

Barbara was born on May 9, 1951 to Lonnie Zeno Scott and Ozella (Crawford) Scott.  She was born and raised full circle from 915 W. 12th Street, Coffeyville, KS.

Barbara attended McKinley Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, and Field Kindley High School graduating in May 1969.  She attended Coffeyville Community College and graduated in May 1971 with an Associate of Art Degree.  Barbara later attended Labette Community College and graduated in 1990 with an Associate of Science in Nursing.

Barbara was employed by the City of Coffeyville as an Account Receivable Clerk, and the Account Payable Clerk for 13 years.  She left the city in January 1989 to pursue her degree in Nursing, in June of 1990 she became employed by Coffeyville Regional Medical Center a Registered Nurse and remained there for 20 years, retiring in August of 2010.

Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2023 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Mission Funeral Services, 502 S. Union.

Service will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 at St. John Church of Faith, 602 W. Martin St. at 10 a.m.
