Ricky G. Littlejohn

On July 12, 2022 Ricky (Rick) G. Littlejohn, peacefully transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home at the Medicalodges, Independence, KS. Ricky was born on June 24, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School Class of 1973. He also attended Coffeyville Community College. Ricky enjoyed playing and attending sports events. He was an avid Tornado and Red Ravens fan.

Ricky married Martha Strickland August 21, 2006. He was employed consecutively by Third Street Apartments, Bank of America, and Bartlett Four Mill before his health declined, and he was unable to continue to work. Ricky loved to watch all sports-any kind of sports! He also enjoyed spend time with family, friends and his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary E. Littlejohn and Rev. C.H. Littlejohn and his brother, Chauncey H. Littlejohn.

Ricky is survived by is wife Martha Strickland Littlejohn: his stepmother Olean Littlejohn (McKinney, TX); his children, Micheal Strickland (Pittsburg, KS); Tony Strickland (Coffeyville, KS); Richard Morrison/ Tommie (Pittsburg, KS); Akhia Liittlejohn and Micah Littlejohn (Coffeyville, KS); his sisters; Vickie Littlejohn Byrd (Kansas City, MO); Joyce Faye/Chris Gilrath (Bonner Springss, KS); and Valarie M. Littlejohn (LaMesa, CA), and a host of close relatives and friends.

"Celebration of Life" Service will be held at Sardis First Missionary Baptist Church, 414 East Second Street, Coffeyville, KS of August 6, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.
