Gary B. Wilson Sr.

Pastor Gary B. Wilson Sr. was born March 10, 1952 at CRMC to Burnis W. White and Rosemary Wilson. As a youth he attended school in Coffeyville, KS when he got older he attended Wichita Public School System. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Gary was a very hard worker at all he did, he held down at least 2 jobs at all times like Clifton Square, ADT, Spears MFG, Property Manager for Larry Jensen, owner of Wilson's Lawn Service, Custodial Dept. at USD 259, Cessna Aircraft Company (29 years), and the Proud pastor of St. John Church of Faith in Coffeyville, KS was born March 10, 1953 gained his heavenly wings October 27, 2021.

Gary married Purley Mae Rice on February 19, 1972 in Wichita, KS, to that union they were blessed with 2 children Trinealia (Wilson) Hines and Gary B. Wilson Jr.

He leaves to cherish is memories his wife Purley Mae Wilson, daughter Trinealia D. Hines (Thomas), son Gary B. Wilson Jr. (Kim), Grandchildren: Marquesha McFan, QueCheala McFan, TaMora Hines, Caleb Wilson, and Jayden Wilson, Sisters: Sharon Pennington, Denise Young, Linda Brown, Brothers: Burnis White Jr. (Mary), Raymond White (Montra), Ronald White (Robin) Norman White (Kristel), Edna Trent (Sister-in-law), Several nieces, nephews, cousins, God-children, Members and friends.

He was preceded in death by Burnis W. White (Father), Hatsumi (Sue) White, Rosemary Young (Mother), Eliza L. Wilson (Mother-in-law) , Isreal Wilson (Father-in-law), Glenda Browning (Sister-in-law), Gary V. Wilson lll (Grandson), Gregory Pennington (Brother-in-lae), Raymond White (Brother), Barbara Moore (Sister), David Young (Brother), William Young (Brother), grandparents, serval brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Viewing on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Mission Funeral Services

Service on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. John Church of Faith, 602 W. Martin St.
