L C Trace 81, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

He was born November 13, 1934 to Mattie James and Anderson Trace in Helena, Arkansas. He went to school until he was 12 years old. L C had to quit school to work picking cotton to help out the family.

He later moved to Wichita, KS working for Coca Cola Bottling Plant for 10 years then moved to Cincinnati, OH where he worked for the city as a Big Rig Operator for 20 then he moved to Coffeyville, KS in 2000.

His hobbies include fishing, hunting, gambling at the casino, playing cards, football and he loved spending time with family.

L C is survived by One Sister: Janice Faye Kennard (Jerry); 3 Nephews: Sedric Fulcher, Mondriel Fulcher, and Marquis Fulcher and a host of cousins and friends. L C was preceded in death by his parents, a host of uncles and cousins.

Viewing will be Friday January 1, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Mission Funeral Services located at 502 S Union Street, Coffeyville, KS.

Service will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 @ 11 a.m. at St. John Church of Faith located 602 W. Martin, Coffeyville, KS.

Interment: Fairview Cemetery following service.
